This is a workshop for school systems exploring the setting up of programs for advanced learners. We will explore the educational needs of high potential students, review research findings on the efficacy of gifted programs, and explore models of enrichment available to schools. We will look at setting up identification and service systems to ensure that advanced students are receiving services they require. We will also address ongoing teacher training needs. This workshop will be offered free for schools who request a consultancy for establishing gifted programming.
