In a world where social media demands perfectionism and AI promises to simplify our lives, now, more than ever before, our children need to be creative risk-takers. This workshop explores creativity, touching upon its dimensions and then focusing on the experience of being creative. We practice thinking fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. We learn from creative pedagogies while staying focused on student output. In addition, we learn to integrate creative thinking in classroom bulletin boards, test questions, formative assessments, and class culture. We also learn how to create a culture of taking risks, making mistakes, reflecting, and learning from these.
